HISTORICAL INFORMATION:

Arielli was built in the medieval times and first appeared in official documents in the 12th century. It belonged to the De Vega, Doria, and Costa families. It was completely levelled by bombardment in the second world war and then rebuilt in the 50s. The town is popular for olive oil, due to the large production capacity.
