 Elevation: 235 metersPopulation: 1,950 The town is located by the Lanciano area and it is known for its vineyards and olive groves. HISTORICAL FACTS Frisa was always under the influence of Lanciano, for centuries. The structure of the town itself says that it had a definite baronial influence. A church was built along the tratturo (historic shepherd track) in the 1600s. Inside the church you will find a baroque altar and a painting from the 1500s showing the Virgin Mary.  WHAT TO SEE- Church of Santa Maria Assunta with a paiting from the 1200s. - the old tratturo - Il palazzo also known as the castle.
